Being a Geek is Good....
Cameron just got his acceptance letter into the Science and Medicince Academy at Deep Creek High!
a busy Saturday around here...
James is cleaning out the garage. The Minions did their chores. Carson and I will organize her art drawers and plant seedlings for the garden. Easter prep has begun. I folded clothes (and will keep folding as they come out of the dryer). I baked big cupcakes for dessert (still need to be frosted), made Homemade Chicken Pot Pie (in the oven) and some Southern Sweet Tea.

Spring is here....
Just a few of my Garden Supplies I got today...to start seedlings indoors.

Meet Sophie...
Porter's Teacher's Mother has althziemers and went into a Nursing Home. She had a female Pug she rescued as a young Pug...who is now about 4 years. The Teacher asked us if we wanted the Pug or they'd have to give her to the SPCA....of course we immediately said we'd take her. She arrived at our house tonight 6:30pm (March 10th). She's a sweetheart!
Our other 2 Pugs, Yuka and Yoda are happy to have her and they are all getting along nicely. Only bad thing is...she came to us with fleas! James is now bathing her with Dawn dish soap(we heard it here on Pug Village to use that) and he has a flea dip and flea comb. We'll wash all bedding tomorrow in borax, vacuum the entire house well, tea tree spray her coat, add omega 3 to her food and we always borax the yard anyways (our other pugs never have fleas) and when we take her to the Vet we'll make sure she gets on Flea Control stuff....so hopefully Sophie will be Flea Free!!!

another year, another party....
Being a Brand New Year, many people find themselves clearing out the old to make way for the new!
So, with that in mind…I am planning on Hosting another....
'RECYCLE PARTY'
(last year's was a huge success)
date: Saturday January 21st
time: 10am until 2pm
This is where you bring anything you don’t want anymore and give it away, and while there, pick up items other’s don’t want. (FreeCycle idea).
Ideas of what you can recycle:
Glass jars, Tupperware, Dishes, Clothes, CD’s, Books, Purses, Jewelry, Containers, Décor, Frames, Craft items, Fabric, Furniture, Pet Supplies, Non-Perishable Food, Garden Supplies, Tools, Games, Appliances….and more. It should be in good enough condition to be re-used…no broken junk.
I’ll provide coffee, cocoa and donuts. You bring bags to carry home your new found good in.

Dear Neglected Blog...
Dear Neglected Blog...
I didn't mean to ignore you, really! It's just been a busy few months and with having Facebook, Twitter, and the addiction of Pinterest (aka: 'the new crack'), I really just put you on the back burner for awhile and for that...I am very sorry. However....it's a brand new year- 2012! I plan to post on you at least a few times a month. (No promises, but it's a start).
First thing to post for the new year.....
Love her December Daily and her Project Life albums. Great inspiration for me to get working on recording more of our life as a family. Check her blog out!
So...one of my 2012 goals....Start a Project Life Album!
